CEO and COO time on marketing

Zero. Fully off their plate.

“The CEO and COO didn’t want another agency. They wanted marketing off their desks, a real return on what they were spending, and the time back to run the business.”

problem

The problem they came in with

roar-wyohouse

Two operators doing what a lot of growing operators do. Running the business and running the marketing. Approving creative between calls. Negotiating with vendors. Wondering, quietly, whether any of it was actually working.

They’d tried the usual moves. Bolt on another channel when something slipped. Hire a freelancer here, an agency there. Ask the team for more reporting. None of it added up to a department. What it added up to was a calendar full of marketing decisions neither of them wanted to be making.

What they wanted was simple. Hand it off. All of it. And get a return that actually showed up in the business.

handoff

What the handoff looks like

We don’t sit next to their marketing department. We are it.

That means every channel, every vendor, every report, and every weekly decision runs through us. The CEO and COO aren’t in agency meetings. They aren’t approving creative. They aren’t comparing cost per lead across spreadsheets at ten at night.

Across the year we built and ran a portfolio that covers every surface a motivated seller might touch. Direct mail is the anchor. Referrals, agent partnerships, and wholesaler relationships do the quiet work. Paid search, SEO, and a website that actually earns its keep pull deals in from people already raising their hand. Cold call, SMS, and Facebook are loading the next wave of pipeline. Radio and TV are launching on top of all of it.

Ten-plus channels working together, pointed at the same goal. One team running it. Two operators getting their calendar back.

return

And the return

Nearly 16x on spend. That’s the short version.

The longer version is that this isn’t one channel doing all the work. It’s a portfolio, built on purpose, each piece earning its place. Relationship channels at essentially zero cost. Direct mail as the paid workhorse. Paid search, SEO, and the website pulling in qualified demand. Newer channels already building the next wave of pipeline.

The spend is small. The coverage is wide. The math works because someone is actually running it.

A few things worth noting without drowning in it. SEO looks quiet on closed deals today and has a projected return well north of 20x as the pipeline clears. The newer channels read early, with pipeline in motion that hasn’t closed yet. The real story isn’t any single row. It’s that every row has a job, and every row is being managed.
About-team

What the CEO and COO are doing instead

This is the part that doesn’t show up in a ROAS number and is genuinely the point.

Before Roar, marketing lived on the CEO’s and COO’s calendars. Agency meetings, vendor calls, creative approvals, the daily question of “is this channel actually working.” Now all of that runs through us. They get one structured update. They weigh in on strategy. They approve budget. They stop touching execution.

In practical terms, two of the most expensive people in the business got their calendar back. That’s time going into acquisitions, dispositions, hiring, and the parts of the operation only they can run. We’re convinced that tradeoff is worth as much as the 15.88x, and it doesn’t fit on a chart.

“We don’t just run the ads. We run the department, the meetings, the vendors, and the reporting. The CEO and COO are out of marketing entirely, which is the real product.”

And this is year one of the engine

We’ve been with this client for a couple of years, but 2025 is the first full year with every channel running and every number tracked. A real portion of what we spent this year is still building. SEO compounds. Content we published this year keeps earning deals next year and the year after, with no additional spend. The website, the same. The paid channels get smarter every month they run. Brand recognition from direct mail, radio, and TV stacks over time until we’re the first name a seller thinks of when they’re finally ready to talk. The 15.88x is the floor. It’s what the engine produced in its first full year, while still being built.

What this actually proves

Two operators handed off marketing. They stopped making decisions they didn’t want to be making. They got their calendar back. And the business got a bigger return than it had any year they were running it themselves. If that’s the trade you’re looking for, this is what it looks like.

“These guys get RESULTS! Have been working with Divulge for a while now and cannot say enough about how happy I am with their marketing. They took the time to understand my product, my needs, and then presented a strategy that fit within my budget. I have seen such good response to their marketing that I've increased my monthly budget and couldn't be happier”

"Our campaign was apparently the best they ever had in terms of getting calls scheduled. It totally took off, and we had to ask them to slow down!! They even helped us on our messaging and sales scripting! We are SO thankful we didn't go with the other guys. Highly recommend them!"
